Understanding Charlotte's AREAS
The real estate community in Charlotte is divided into Areas. This Area system is very effective in your house hunting. Once you have established an Area or two that you prefer, your realtor can do a search for all the homes available in those Areas. This system allows you to see homes in numerous neighborhoods, all close to your desired amenities.
Areas 1-9 divide the city like slices of pie. The Areas start in the north and circle the city clockwise. These areas are also divided into SubAreas. The surrounding counties also have Area Numbers.
